Update to 12/03/10 Oklahoma Bolide...

New video of the Oklahoma bolide 12/03/10 has been provided to ELP ALLSKY by Kevin P. of Hawley TX. Kevin's camera has a roughly 40 degree field of view and is pointed north. Image center is directly toward Oklahoma City. The fireball can be seen in the lower right corner of the video. Below the video is a composite image showing heading and bearings.

West Texas Meteor Sighting 12/08/10...Marathon TX

9:20 AM Dec 8, 2010 Rob Dean E-mails: Traveling between Marathon, Tx and Ft. Stockton, Tx, my husband and I saw a brilliant shooting star/fireball about 8:30-9:00a.m. on Dec.8,2010.  It appeared overhead to our north  and faded to the northeast.  It was brilliant white with a long trail that appeared to be dripping blobs of material behind it.

British Columbia Fireball Reports Coming in to ELPALLSKY 12/08/10...

Two reports of a fireball south of Quesnel British Columbia, Canada have come in to ELPALLSKY. Reports are as follow:

[Dec 8 2010, 8:51 PM Guest459 (guest): Saw a bright blue meteor spiral to earth on an approximate 45 degree angle just south of Quesnel, British Columbia]
 Dec 8 2010, 7:45 PM M. Smith E-mails: Hi, Last night Dec.8/10 at approximately 7:30pm I saw a large bright orange/green meteor fireball I guess south of Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada.  It was SW of us and moved west & then disappeared.  Did anyone else see this?  M.Smith, Quesnel, BC.

Meteor Report...Iowa Meteor/Fireball...

Bright Meteor East Of Yuma AZ...

Just saw bright orange meteor in low eastern horizon about 20 minutes agoIn Yuma AZLasted 3 to 5 seconds, large and long orange taistarted then stopped, then main portion, thought at first it was a flair from Naval gunnery range, but too large and flew in wrong directionshad me stunned watching it at first.
