Update On Cornwall AZ Report From Brenda H.:
The most exciting thing that has happened to me in a long while occurred as I was returning home a bit ago (Saturday night 8:30 pm April 30-2011.) I saw a bright flash to the side of me and looked over and lo and behold there was a large bright green/gold/orange orb falling quickly to the ground, (like a falling star would appear) but it was big and the first thing I thought of was it must be a meteorite,  but then my next thought was, could it be a UFO? it disappeared behind the hill and I heard no crash nor did I see an explosion. I don't know if meteorites have colors like that, but it was a brilliantly colored green (almost emerald) with traces of orange and yellow. There really wasn't a tail, the orange/gold colors were surrounding it.  If I were comparing it to the size of a shooting star I'd say that it was magnified by that size by at least 10 times and it was in a NE direction ( I was facing the Sedona area) rapidly falling towards the ground when it was no longer visible because of the hills.
Blessings,
Brenda

Stormie Ulibarri-Western NM:
Hi there.  On April 30th, 2011, my brother and I were traveling West on the 60 from Socorro, NM heading home to Arizona.  The time was approximately 9ish, not positive.  We weren't far past the VLA, approximately 50 miles.  We were driving extremely slow due to the massive amount of elk on the road.  I looked up and saw what I thought was a falling star and pointed it out to my brother.  This did not burn out the closer it got, like most do.  It stayed fully illuminate, had a tail and appeared close enough to see the gases fuming off of it.  It was bright white with blue.  It travel West to North as indicated by the Albuquerque sighting on your site.  It did impact, as we witnessed a flash of light, most closely compared to the bright flash of a camera.  Over the tree tops after impact, a red light could be seen and then another. Don't know if this was fire or what not.  I've read a lot of accounts on the sighting and I wonder if we are all talking about more than one meteorite.  I witnessed approximately six falling stars that night, or more correctly meteor showers.  Possible more than one hit.  I would swear this one hit in New Mexico and not far from where we were at.  It was close enough to scare the hell out of me.  Hope this helps.

Sarah and Patrick:
We live in Las Vegas, Nevada and just saw a huge, bright green shooting star with a long trail behind it. At first we thought it was a plane crashing because it was so large and bright green. It was amazing!! This happened at approximatly 8:40 p.m. PST on April 30, 2011.

Rusty In Sedona, AZ:
last night in Sedona at a star party we saw a very large fireball raise low towards the ground and after it disappeared over the mountain there was a flash like it had hit and exploded. It was amazing. So big.

Christopher Hunt-Las Vegas, NV:
Driving back from picking up Pizza last night, I saw a Greenish meteor over Las Vegas.
I live in the Southwest part of town with a clear view of the strip.  I had just turned and was driving East towards the strip in a residential area and saw the meteor fly over me at a slight angle going roughly from southwest to northeast.  The track went over the strip (from my vantage point) towards Lake Mead.  I then saw it break into at least 3 pieces that then tailed toward the ground.  The light at the point that it broke seemed to be a green flash.

Seen in Cornville AZ last night about 8:30pm April 30, 2011.
It was in the NE sky over by the Sedona area. It fell fast and disappeared behind the hilly terrain. An amazing site. It was like a falling star but very big. No sounds were made.

David Russel-Arizona:
I was driving north on I17 around mile marker 272 in Northern Arizona around 8:45pm. Saw the object seem to drop out of the sky heading quickly northwest and then disappear over the mountainous terrain, only saw it for a couple of seconds. I remember green, my wife says there was some orange at the tail.

Sarah E.-Las Vegas NV:
Ten minutes ago my husband and I saw the biggest brightest green shooting star/meteor ever!  It lasted a really long time and was the largest brightest we have ever seen.
